Mentor
and teach physically and mentally challenged local residents
when you volunteer with our Special Needs Program in Bolivia.
As a volunteer in Santa Cruz, you will be working in various
capacities with physically and mentally challenged children
and adults. Opportunities include volunteering at a school
for the vision impaired, a school for the hearing impaired,
and a school for children with special needs. Each school
needs help in different departments, and all welcome both
lay volunteers and trained specialists.
Volunteers will help run workshops including sports, arts,
cooking, and carpentry for both adult and youth students
at the schools. You will also assist teachers in classes,
