Teach, tutor, and mentor girls and young women at
a local shelter when you volunteer with our Young Women's Mentoring Program in Santiago, Chile.
As a volunteer with our local partner organization, you will help play a role in the lives of girls aged 3 to 18 who have been abandoned or abused
by their families. The foundation firmly believes that volunteers provide a window to a world that the young women and girls have previously not been
able to access. Our partners provide food and shelter, as well as dedicating themselves to nurturing the girls and young women toward life outside the
shelter.
While your mere presence is extremely helpful to the young women, you will also have duties that may include any or all of the following: helping
with schoolwork, assisting the staff in organizing the girls’ study time, planning recreational activities and just spending time with and
listening to the girls. Come and make a difference in the lives of these wonderful young women!
As a volunteer, you
will be:
Helping the girls with their homework
Mentoring the girls
Helping the staff with various tasks
Organizing activities for the girls
Taking part in special activities
